BAE Systems is looking for a Quality Technician who is excited to join a leading top tier global aerospace & defense enterprise as part of the C4ISR business area. This role is a full time, onsite position located in Fort Wayne, IN.
As a Quality Technician you will leverage your knowledge and experience to help the team meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets. This role focuses on communication with internal and external customers, supporting continuous improvement, and helping the team make decisions and drive actions based on data.

Full-Time Salary Range: $46898 - $75035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

As a Quality Technician you will leverage your knowledge and experience to help the team meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets. This role focuses on communication with internal and external customers, supporting continuous improvement, and helping the team make decisions and drive actions based on data.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform final Quality review (sell-off) of hardware
- Collaborate with Operation as needed
- Reviewing and analyzing data to improve yields and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Participating in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
- Control of non-conforming materials, including leading containment, disposition activities and perform audits as needed
- Supporting production through Corrective Action Board
- Participating in Production Process Verification (PPV) / First Article Inspections (FAI) activities
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School degree and 1-2+ years of experience
- Basic understanding of quality science tools (8D RCCA, SPC, Auditing)
- Self-starting problem solver with a fact-based focus on continuous improvement
- Organized; capable of juggling several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team-oriented; ability and desire to work with a cross-functional team
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, IPC-A-610)
- Familiarity with electronic manufacturing
- Active Secret or higher clearance
