Pharmacy Technician-Intermediate-Home Infusion - Full-time/Days

Job Summary:

This position, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, is responsible for supporting medication order processing by performing specialized technical tasks. These duties include medication stocking, patient communication, ordering, labeling, packaging, record keeping, distribution, and other clerical functions within the homecare setting. Perform sterile compounding, including hazardous, nonhazardous, and parenteral nutrition preparation. The employee must maintain required competencies as required by regulatory agencies and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma (required)

Licenses and Certifications

• TCH-Pharmacy Technician License - CA-SBP - California State Board of Pharmacy (required)
• CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Tech - PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum one (1) year Related experience (required)
• Minimum two (2) years Related experience (preferred)
