Additional Hospital Information & What We are Looking For:
The Animal House Pet Clinic | Green Bay, WI
A New Chapter. An Amazing Team. A Hospital You'll Want to Be Part Of.
The Animal House Pet Clinic is entering an exciting new chapter under new leadership, and we're incredibly proud of the team and culture we've built. With a happy, collaborative staff, long-tenured team members, strong technical support, and a renewed energy throughout the hospital, this is an opportunity to join a practice that genuinely values its people as much as the medicine they provide.
• Interest In – High-Quality GP & Wellness Medicine: If you love the relationships, continuity, and variety that make general practice so rewarding, this opportunity was built with you in mind. Join an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital where you can focus on comprehensive GP medicine including wellness and preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, dermatology, senior medicine, pain management, soft-tissue surgery, behavioral medicine, and client education.
This is not an Urgent Care position disguised as GP. While Animal House has a separate Urgent Care service and opportunities exist for doctors who want exposure to same-day medicine, we're equally excited to welcome a veterinarian whose passion is excellent general practice, preventative medicine, client relationships, and long-term patient care.
• More Than Your Average GP: Animal House gives you the resources and case variety to take general practice further. The hospital manages everything from routine preventative medicine to advanced diagnostics and procedures, dentistry, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, behavioral cases, and more.
And if you have a special interest you'd like to develop, we want to hear about it. Our goal isn't to fit every veterinarian into the same box, it's to give talented doctors the resources and support to build a career they genuinely enjoy.
• Open to New Graduates or Experienced Veterinarians: Whether you're preparing to graduate and looking for the right environment to become a confident clinician or you're an experienced veterinarian looking for a fresh opportunity with a great team, we'd love to connect.
New graduates will have access to our structured one-year Mentorship Program, including a dedicated Clinical Mentor, intentional schedule overlap, regular mentor meetings, goal-setting, professional development, and support as you progressively build independence.
You'll also have access to our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program, offered year-round in a small-group setting where participants typically complete approximately 20–40 surgeries, as well as a 2-day Dental Wet Lab led by our veterinary dental specialist.
• Experienced Veterinarians: Come practice great medicine with the autonomy you've earned and the support you still want. Experienced doctors have room to pursue individual clinical interests while practicing alongside a collaborative team.
In addition to generous CE support, you'll have access to our Clinical Tracks Program, offering complimentary RACE-approved CE facilitated by veterinary specialists within our network.
Have a special interest? Let's talk about how we can help make it a larger part of your everyday practice.
• New Leadership + A Culture We're Proud Of: There's an exciting energy at Animal House right now. Under new leadership, we've created an environment centered around communication, collaboration, positivity, accountability, and genuinely supporting one another.
Our support team includes highly skilled CVTs and long-tenured team members who know the hospital, know our clients, and know how to support their doctors. We're proud of the happy team, low turnover, and supportive environment we've built, and we want our next veterinarian to add to it.
Come meet us. Spend some time with the team. We think you'll feel the difference.
• Supportive, Experienced Technical Staff: Our skilled CVTs and support staff have strong capabilities in anesthesia, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, patient handling, treatments, and client education. They are here to support doctors and allow you to actually be the veterinarian, focusing your time on diagnosing, treating, communicating, and practicing medicine.
• All the Tools to Practice Great Medicine: Animal House isn't a bare-bones GP hospital. Our AAHA-accredited, modern facility is equipped with the technology and clinical capabilities to support thorough case workups and high-quality medicine.
The hospital offers multiple exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental areas, ABAXIS in-house laboratory capabilities, ultrasound, digital radiography, electrocautery, blood transfusion capabilities, echocardiography, advanced patient monitoring, and more.
Between the equipment, advanced services, and access to specialist collaboration within our network, our doctors have the resources around them to investigate further, get answers, and manage an impressive range of cases.
• Small Animals of All Sorts: While dogs and cats make up the heart of our GP caseload, Animal House also provides care for birds, pocket pets, reptiles, and other exotic companion animals. Exotic medicine does not have to be part of your caseload, but if it's something you're interested in, there's opportunity to explore it.
• Four-DVM Team With Room to Grow: Join an established four-doctor team with plenty of opportunity ahead. We believe collaboration makes medicine better, and our doctors aren't expected to practice on an island.
• Flexible Scheduling: Your life outside of work matters, too. We're open to discussing different scheduling structures and preferences and finding something that works for both you and the hospital.
Come See Animal House for Yourself. Sometimes the best way to understand a hospital isn't through a job posting, it's by walking through the doors and meeting the people.
Come meet our leadership. Meet our doctors and CVTs. Tour the hospital. See the equipment. Experience the culture we're building. We think you'll understand pretty quickly why we're excited about what's happening here.

Why Green Bay, WI?
Don't overlook Green Bay because it isn't Milwaukee or Madison. Northeast Wisconsin offers the kind of quality of life that's becoming increasingly difficult to find in larger metros, more space, easier commutes, access to the outdoors, a strong sense of community, and plenty to do without the daily headaches of a major city.
Green Bay is far more than football. The area offers restaurants, breweries, entertainment, trails, parks, waterfront recreation, boating, fishing, hiking, festivals, and year-round activities. And yes, being home to the Green Bay Packers means game days bring an energy to the community that's hard to replicate anywhere else.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Northeast Wisconsin puts lakes, trails, state parks, camping, fishing, boating, and four-season recreation within easy reach. For those looking to settle down, the surrounding communities offer plenty of options for space and a quieter pace of life while still keeping everyday conveniences nearby.
And when you want a bigger-city weekend, Milwaukee is an easy trip south, while Wisconsin's Northwoods and Door County give you entirely different weekend escapes in the other direction.
You may be surprised by just how much life you can build here.
