Local truck driver - great pay

Are you an experienced truck driver looking for more than just another driving job? Our expanding construction materials company is seeking a professional Class A CDL truck driver to serve as both a senior truck driver and DOT Compliance Lead.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused truck driver who enjoys operating a variety of trailers while helping lead our DOT/FMCSA compliance programs. If you're a dedicated truck driver with leadership abilities and a strong understanding of transportation regulations, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
? Operate Class A CDL equipment transporting construction materials.
Schedule MON- FRI
shift- 7am to 5pm
equipment : tractor trailer dry vans
transmission -automatic
? Safely operate various trailer types, including flatbeds and specialized equipment trailers.
? Serve as our lead truck driver by modeling safe, efficient, and professional driving practices.
? Manage DOT/FMCSA compliance, including:

• Driver Qualification Files (DQFs)
• MVR monitoring
• Medical card compliance
• Hours of Service (HOS)
• ELD oversight
• Vehicle inspections
• Maintenance records
• Audit readiness

? Coordinate DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.
? Train and mentor fellow drivers through onboarding, ride-alongs, safety coaching, and annual compliance training.
? Investigate accidents and incidents while implementing corrective actions.
? Partner with operations and safety teams to ensure all transportation activities remain compliant.
Qualifications
? Valid Class A CDL
? Clean driving record
? 5+ years of commercial driving experience
? 2+ years of DOT/FMCSA compliance or safety experience preferred
? Strong knowledge of HOS regulations, ELD systems, vehicle inspections, and load securement
? Excellent organizational and documentation skills
? Leadership mentality with the ability to coach and develop other drivers

? Heavy haul experience
? Oversize/Overweight permits
? Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
? TWIC Card
? Rigging or NCCCO awareness
? SPCC familiarity
