Associate Attorney: Commercial Real Estate

A well-established and rapidly growing law firm in Essex County is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its thriving real estate practice.

In this role, YOU will:

• Represent lenders, borrowers, developers, investors, and business owners in commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan and financing documents, and development agreements.

• Handle commercial financing matters, including acquisition, construction, bridge, and permanent financing.

• Advise clients on zoning, land use, permitting, title, and related regulatory matters.

• Assist with business and transactional matters involving real estate ownership, development, and investment.

• Work with attorneys across practice areas on complex commercial transactions.

• Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.

• Experience with zoning, land use, title, due diligence, and deal structuring is a plus.

YOU might be the right person if you have:

• 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including commercial lending and financing matters, with experience in due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction structuring.

• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate and financing documents.

• Familiarity with zoning, land use, permitting, and related regulatory matters is a plus.
