Doctor of Medicine | Otolaryngology Location: Florence, SC Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Florence, South Carolina Otolaryngology (ENT / Facial Trauma) Locum Tenens Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist for ongoing locum tenens facial trauma and ENT call coverage with a high-acuity regional medical center in Florence, South Carolina. This opportunity offers a strong surgical support environment within a busy Level II Trauma Center managing complex facial trauma and inpatient ENT consultative care. This assignment is ideal for physicians comfortable practicing independently in a high-volume trauma setting with advanced inpatient resources and multidisciplinary specialty support. Assignment Highlights Facial Trauma ENT Call Coverage No outpatient clinic responsibilities Level II Trauma Center 500 Bed Regional Medical Center Hotel call after daily responsibilities are completed Ongoing coverage needs throughout 2026 Strong specialty and trauma support infrastructure Clinical Responsibilities ENT call coverage Facial trauma coverage ED consults and evaluations Inpatient rounding Post-operative patient management Procedural and surgical intervention as needed Collaborative trauma and specialty coordination Physicians must be comfortable managing facial trauma cases including: Mandible fractures Orbital floor injuries Lid lacerations Acute facial trauma consults Practice Environment Busy regional trauma center Approximately 5–6 consults daily on average Increased weekend trauma volumes Independent physician practice model Multidisciplinary inpatient support Established trauma infrastructure Schedule Availability June 8 – June 15 | 8a–8a August 3 – August 6 | 8a–8a September 14 – September 21 | 8a–8a September 28 – October 1 | 8a–8a October 26 – October 30 | 8a–3p Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology Active South Carolina Medical License Active DEA CSR Facial trauma experience required Comfortable working independently in a trauma setting About Florence, South Carolina Florence offers the convenience of a growing regional hub with easy coastal access, excellent dining, strong local amenities, and a welcoming community atmosphere in the heart of South Carolina.
