Recon Mainline Technician

Job Duties (Will Include but Not Be Limited To)

  • Perform oil changes
  • Replace bulbs and air filters
  • Check fluid levels, brakes, tires, and other minor repairs on all makes and models of used vehicles
  • Used necessary diagnostic equipment (scan tools, TP tools, all data, A/C equipment) DVOM, etc.
  • Diagnose various no start, poor run squeaks, rattles, front suspension, check engine lights, or poor conditions
  • Lead by example and be an advocate for staff
  • Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
  • Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments

  • All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

Compensation: $22/hr

Minimum Requirements

  • Automotive degree and/or certification preferred
  • Experience with reconditioning vehicles preferred
  • Ability to provide your own basic tools
  • Must be reliable and have a good work ethic
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Physical Demands

  • Moving and walking around the dealership
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting
  • Utilizing a computer for day-to-day tasks and electronic technology required by OEMs
  • Certain areas of the dealership environmental demands may include noise, vibration, paint, dust, exhaust fumes, other hazardous and non-hazardous materials, extreme heat and/or cold
  • Driving vehicles
  • Using equipment consistent with industry standards
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds
  • Utilizing physical and manual dexterity
