About this role:
As a Technology Director, you will lead Enterprise AI technology, platforms, release management, the Observe to Agent (O2A) capability, and the Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Program. This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving execution across a broad portfolio of AI and automation initiatives, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions. You will oversee roadmap delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence while leading a large organization of direct and indirect resources. Success in this role requires strong leadership, the ability to influence across business and technology teams, and a passion for developing high-performing talent and advancing innovation across the enterprise.
In this role, you will:
Strategic ownership and direction of the O2A (Observe to Agent) capability.
Leadership of the Quality Assurance Automation program and quality engineering functions.
Delivery accountability across a broader portfolio of AI and automation initiatives.
Management of an expanded organization with both direct and indirect resources.
Responsibility for roadmap execution, stakeholder engagement, and talent development across the capability.
Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience defining and executing enterprise technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML platforms, automation technologies, software delivery, and release management practices.
Demonstrated success leading quality engineering and QA transformation initiatives, including test automation and continuous improvement.
Experience managing large, complex portfolios with accountability for delivery, operational excellence, and business outcomes.
Proven ability to influence and partner with senior business and technology leaders across the enterprise.
Strong people leadership skills, including organizational design, talent development, succession planning, and leading teams through change.
