What You Will Do:

  • Work with Core PD team, Design Integration engineers, Assembly Operation designers, and Module Center personnel to create and check system level drawing product and manage schedules. 
  • Check and/or release graphically driven engine level assemblies using NX and Teamcenter software. 
  • Check and/or release Table of Limits to document special assembly instructions containing, fits and clearances, torques, and hardware life limits. 
  • Manage the release of assembly drawings and related documents using Product Data Management tools. 
  • Attend technical meetings and assist subject matter experts to create and maintain system level assemblies and related configurations. 
  • Support MBD initiatives: NX CAD Model Animations, 3DCS tolerance stacks, 3D Cross Sections, Gapping & Clearance studies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • An AA/AS degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced knowledge of GD&T.
  • Strong skills in NX and Team Center tools and processes.
  • Strong communication and teaming skills.
  • An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

This position is classified as:


Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.


Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
