Seeking an experienced Centerless Grinder Set-Up Operator to set up and operate Cincinnati #2 OM Centerless Grinding Machines while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform close-tolerance machine setups on multiple material types.
- Set up and operate Cincinnati Centerless Grinding equipment.
- Conduct first article inspections and verify parts against prints.
- Determine correct grinding wheel speeds and stock removal rates.
- Complete production and inspection documentation.
- Train and support less experienced operators.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of centerless grinding experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Experience with Cincinnati Centerless Grinders preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
