Role Summary

Urban Outfitters, Inc., a dynamic specialty retailer including global brands Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters, has an exciting opportunity in the Global Trade and Compliance area. We are looking for a Coordinator of International Compliance to help support our global business. The Coordinator of International Compliance is responsible for supporting the operations of the International Compliance Department, including but not limited to reviewing export documentation for completeness & accuracy, assisting in product classification, and providing support to the team and other business partners as issues arise.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and resolving daily export compliance issues for the URBN retail and wholesale business.
  • Data entry in Bamboo Rose (Product Lifecycle Management System).
  • Develop classification knowledge in apparel, footwear, home, and beauty product.
  • Assistance with customs audits & investigations when required.
  • Weekly processing of truck shipments from our DC’s to fulfill our Canadian retail stores.
  • Document review for exports to international wholesale customers and vendors.
  • Processing of invoices for Accounts Payable.
  • Assisting with inquiries from our Canada Customs Broker.
  • Run reports and analyze data.

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
