About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Local Delivery Driver. This role involves delivering construction and insulation materials, safely transporting rail containers, and providing professional customer service throughout the local route.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay: $28.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Daily responsibilities may require 10–11 hours of work

Job Details

  • Route type: Local delivery
  • Freight: Construction and insulation materials
  • Equipment: Class A vehicle and pallet jack
  • Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries, drop and hook, and securing rail containers

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
  • Complete local deliveries of construction and insulation materials.
  • Perform drop-and-hook operations and safely secure and transport rail containers.
  • Ensure safe, timely, and incident-free transportation.
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch.
  • Provide positive, safe, and professional customer experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong communication and rapport with customers.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid, current CDL A.
  • 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
  • Some experience with intermodal containers.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
