Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Deaconess Health.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - One full year ortho/neuro/trauma. - Strong neuro assessment, log rolling patients, applying assistice devices (back brace, immobilizer), Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test **Stepdown exp only), PIV insertion.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chest tube/indwelling drain management, drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), epidural management, PEGs/NGs, Buck’s traction, pin site care, On-Q management, CIWA/BH, wounds (packing, wound vacs). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates

Shift & Scheduling: - 36 (will accept 48 upon request). - Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
