About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A hazmat driver to support local operations based in Henrico, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $28.50 Per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4am - 6am Start time, 8-14 hours per day
Job Details
- Route Type: Local, 6-8 stops per day
- Equipment: Automatic Transmission, 53' Trailer
- Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack, some breakdown of product required, must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including being able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Hazmat required before 90 days of employment
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
