Hematologist Oncologist Physician
Our client, a leading academic medical center located in the New York City Metro area, is hiring a Hematologist Oncologist Physician. This esteemed institution is seeking to add a skilled Hematologist Oncologist Physician to its dynamic team. The role provides an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical care in a busy, academically oriented environment, while contributing to teaching and research activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical care for a busy hematology/oncology practice within the hospital setting.
- Conduct consultation services for hematology and oncology patients.
- Manage outpatient and inpatient schedules with clinic hours from 8 am to 5 pm, including a weekend call rotation shared among three attending physicians.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching residents and fellows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree from an accredited university.
- New York Medical License.
- Board eligibility or certification in Hematology and Oncology.
- Experience treating blood cancers, specifically leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to participate in academic activities and mentor trainees.

Salary: $400,000 - $675,000. This range is not a guarantee. The actual salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and education and could fall outside of this range. Contact us for more information.
