We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with strong residential design experience to support the development of construction documents, design plans, and project drawings. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of residential building codes, architectural standards, and drafting best practices. This role works closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to produce accurate, high-quality drawings for new builds, renovations, and additions.

This role is fully onsite in Tampa FL

Salary: $25-30/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and site layouts for residential projects using AutoCAD.
  • Develop and update construction documents based on design specifications, field measurements, and client requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with residential building codes, zoning requirements, and company drafting standards.
  • Revise and finalize plans based on feedback from architects, engineers, and project managers.
  • Maintain organized project files, drawing logs, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve design conflicts, verify dimensions, and ensure accuracy.
