Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Access Control Driver Clearance Required in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $27.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with established protocols, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or collect access badges as directed.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and entry activity; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to access-control incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
