Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - 2310 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Additional Details:
1 manager reference from within the last 6 months OR 2 charge nurse references from within the last 6 months (one reference must be from most recent employment)
Required Skills/Experience:
Must have centrifuging, aliquoting, distribution, and experience working with an LIS system.
A minimum of 2+ years of RRT experience in the pediatric critical care arena (PICU/NICU/CCU) required.
Recent pediatric RRT experience in PICU/NICU within the current year required.
Required Credentials:
NRP required for NICU assignments.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
Must be able to work 2 of the following 4 areas: NICU, CCU, PICU, and acute care floors.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 6 months

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
