Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in the execution of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as exercise instruction, mobilization, and manual therapy to aid patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, safe mobility techniques, and self-management strategies for better recovery outcomes.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring that adjustments to treatment plans are made as necessary.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to provide comprehensive care.
• Apply trigger point therapy techniques when appropriate to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Assist in workplace wellness initiatives aimed at educating staff about occupational health and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of patients, from children to seniors, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Our primary focus includes orthopedic rehabilitation, post-surgery recovery, chronic pain management, and enhancing overall mobility for individuals suffering from musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or an equivalent degree.
• Possession of a current, valid state PTA license, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and relevant medical terminology.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with various rehabilitation modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide care with compassion and empathy.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working in a hospital setting is highly desirable, particularly within outpatient orthopedic clinics. A background in community outreach or rehabilitation program development could also be beneficial for our diverse patient population.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
