Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, adapting based on patient responses and progression.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring proper techniques are used to promote safety and efficacy.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, highlighting key developments.
- Prepare therapy areas by organizing equipment and ensuring all materials are ready for effective session execution.
- Monitor patient safety throughout treatment sessions, being prepared to modify exercises and approaches as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Cultivate a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates patients and supports their journey to recovery.
- Maintain regular communication with Physical Therapists and the clinical team regarding patient developments and adjustments to care plans.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a PTA at Senior Flex Therapy Center, your primary focus will be working with elderly patients, individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and others requiring short- or long-term rehabilitation. You will play an essential role in helping these patients regain mobility, strength, and independence through targeted physical therapy interventions.
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant License, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, demonstrating a solid foundation in physical therapy practices.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification is preferred, emphasizing our commitment to patient safety.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively motivate and support patients throughout their recovery processes.

Compensation and Benefits
