<p><b>Volt </b>is immediately hiring a<b> Direct Hire Project Engineer (Land Development) </b>in <b>Santa Clarita, CA. </b></p> <p>As a <b>Project Engineer</b>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the engineering design and execution of land development and civil infrastructure projects.</li> <li>Develop project work plans, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.</li> <li>Oversee project progress and coordinate activities to ensure quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.</li> <li>Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and supporting documents.</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and CAD drafters.</li> <li>Collaborate with clients, contractors, and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle.</li> <li>Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.</li> <li>Evaluate technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions for complex projects.</li> </ul> <p>This is a <b>full-time, direct hire</b> opportunity.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.</li> <li>Minimum of 6 years of civil engineering experience with a PE license, or 10+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of land development and site design, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater systems.</li> <li>Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.</li> <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CADD platforms.</li> <li>Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulic analysis principles.</li> <li>Experience reviewing engineering plans and performing QA/QC processes.</li> <li>Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li> </ul> <p><b>Preferred Skills & Qualifications</b></p> <ul> <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license.</li> <li>California PE registration.</li> <li>Experience working directly with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and contractors.</li> <li>Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.</li> <li>Previous experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff.</li> <li>Background in construction support, field observations, and project closeout activities.</li> </ul> <p><b>Pay Rate: $110,000 - $145,000 annually. </b></p> <p>Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW</b> for immediate consideration!
