For more than 165 years, Morgan has been helping solve complex engineering challenges. At our St. Marys facility, you'll play a hands-on role in producing components that keep critical industries moving.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you'll work as part of a manufacturing team producing high-performance components to precise specifications. You'll operate a variety of equipment, monitor quality, record production data, and help keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Whether you've worked with CNC equipment before or you're mechanically inclined and willing to learn, we'll provide training for the right person.

What You'll Do
  • Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow production specifications and work instructions
  • Inspect parts and products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Record production and quality data accurately
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work with equipment such as CNC mills and lathes, presses, grinders, sandblasters, polishing equipment, and hand tools


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written instructions and accurately document information
  • A reliable, safety-first approach to work
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not essential
  • CNC machining experience is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
