Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1790 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Nebraska Methodist Health System.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - 30-40 treatments/checks per day. - Cares for adults, pediatric, and newborn patients; cases include STEMI, CVA, COVID, EKOS, arrest, and IABP. - Covers inpatient and outpatient areas including ER, floors, pediatrics, L&D, nursery, ICU, sleep lab, OR, and PACU. - Draws ABGs and occasionally performs EKGs. - Assists with intubation. - Uses Drager, A40, LTV and Avea in nursery, V-60, and Vapotherm equipment. - Hospitalist/intensivist in house 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling: - Scheduling requests are accommodated when possible, but flexibility is required to fill staffing gaps. - Every other weekend. - Holidays rotate with permanent staff. - Typically no call.

Floating Requirements: - No floating to sister campus.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
