What You’ll Do
- Work with Production Supervisor to keep production quality up to standards.
- Assist in making sets of color standards in the QA Lab.
- Enter material requisition info in the stock traceability log.
- Support both the press and offline department.
- If necessary, test any materials required on the testing equipment in the lab.
- Work with the ink room techs to ensure the color is correct for new or existing jobs.
- File press cards, proofs, color standards and press retains as directed.
- Inspect incoming material.
- Review and approve raw material certificate of analysis
- Write concise reports on projects/issues to communicate to the QA Manager.
- Work with QA Manager to conduct environmental monitoring.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Participate in root cause analysis for customer complaints.
