What You Will Experience in this position:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, and repair of production machinery and equipment as well as interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as air compressors, HVAC units, lighting/fans and facilities restrooms.
  • Perform basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair as required.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering with process or equipment improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with Tool and Die, Engineering, Supervisors and outside vendors regarding projects and repair problems.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Ability to communicate with openness and candor.
  • Desire to treat others in a fair and equitable manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade school preferred.
  • Minimum two years of demonstrated maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with computer skills basic hand and power tools, machine tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment to meet objectives within required timeframes.
  • Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as the need arises is helpful.
  • Ability to work overtime regularly and with minimal notice to meet business needs.
  • Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: Heavy lifting required within regulations. Exposure to the elements
