Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at an inpatient facility in Maryland. The surgical case mix includes urology, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, vascular, and endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients, and managing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Clinicians will monitor patients physiological conditions throughout procedures and perform clinical interventions as needed. Board certification is required for all clinicians in this role. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment.
