Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1730 per week.

Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have a 6-month employment separation to be considered for a travel position. - Clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license to receive the travel rate.

Required Credentials: - Driver’s license required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. - Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score in specialty, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.

Unit Details: - Conglomerate ICU unit with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients. - Cases and conditions include: TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic, respiratory failure, CHF, pneumonia.

Floating Requirements: - Must float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
