BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our development efforts in our Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support production program activities, including the interfacing with the production staff, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes. This position has growth opportunities to support failure analysis efforts including running tests in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures.
Our engineers are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams focused on developing cost-effective systems that meet the needs of our customers. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of protégés, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- An active Secret clearance is required for this position
- ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science and at least 4 years' experience
- Experience communicating effectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Experience creating and reviewing systems requirements to include, software/hardware, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
- Experience creating system test plans, procedures and reports
- Demonstrated understanding of product design, development, integration, and verification
- Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers.
- Experience managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meeting.
- Experience supporting test equipment requirements, design, and validations activities.
- Experience with Matlab and Oracle
- Extensive experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience with missile systems and guided projectiles
- IR related work experience
- Knowledgeable in Earned Value Management Systems
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience with Hardware and Software Integration
- Product Sell-Off and Requirements Verification Experience to include Environmental, Electromagnetic and Functional Qualification Testing and Analysis
