Position Requirements

Description
Anesthesiologist opportunity in Syracuse, NY. Crouse Hospital offers a variety of cases and sites, centrally located within a one block radius from one another. Crouse includes the main hospital, and 3 ASC’s. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. Excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center. Syracuse is a medium-sized metropolitan area with restaurants, events, shopping, bars, and more. Outdoor lovers will enjoy nearby boating and fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and golf. Short drive to the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and Finger Lakes wine region. Major universities such as Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University. Staff members work in a care-team model

Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $300/hr
 

Case Assignments
• General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds
• No open heart surgeries

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) 

Crouse Health Hospital, Per Diem- $300/hr (W-2/1099)
