Full job description

Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay Range: $32hr

Shift: Days (7am start, 40 hours per week)

What's the Job?

  • Perform tasks related to preventative maintenance, mechanical machine repairs, inspection, and testing of equipment
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems within the facility
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press, and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts
  • Troubleshoot issues and repair failures of production and facility equipment to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Complete work orders and emergency tasks promptly while maintaining a clean and organized work area

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance mechanic technician experience or relevant technical training/certification
  • Proficient mechanical knowledge in electrical, welding, fabrication, utilities, or basic PLCs
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy and precision
  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities
