Facility:
This established medical center serves as a regional healthcare hub in western Massachusetts, providing comprehensive surgical and anesthesia services across multiple operating environments. The facility features 9 main OR suites and 5 endoscopy suites, supported by a collaborative OR staff and a Level 3 trauma designation.

Opportunity:
Board Certified - Anesthesia

Job Details:
  • 8-hour shifts with a 6-month locum-to-perm conversion opportunity
  • Supervised practice setting within Main OR and Endoscopy environments
  • Average of 3-5 surgical cases per day in Main OR and 12-15 endoscopy cases per day
  • Perform general surgical cases for both adult and pediatric patients
  • Administer IV regional, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Manage obstetrical and neurosurgical anesthesia cases
  • Utilize Meditech Expanse as the documentation system and EMR
  • Board Certification (AANA) required
  • Active Massachusetts state license required or willingness to obtain
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience highly preferred; new graduates considered
  • Travel reimbursement provided for flight, hotel, and rental car
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 1 month

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
