Machine Operator

Our client, manufacturing in the battery components industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production support team supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: West Union, SC

Pay Range: $21-$23.00

Shift: 1st and 3rd

What's the Job?

• Operate machinery to produce lead grids for battery casings
• Operate casting machines to form lead into slabs for grid manufacturing
• Use milling machines to shape and cut lead slabs
• Set up and tend machines to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What's Needed?

• Steel toed boots for safety compliance
• Ability to wear a respirator while working
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on schedule
• Capability to consistently lift up to 40 lbs
• Willingness to undergo drug testing and background check
