Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $3070 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to admit, prep, and recover procedural cases from Cath, IR, and EP. Must be able to read telemetry strips and titrate drips. Must know most IV medications.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with peripheral angio cases, IR, and neuro intervention preferred.

Special Requests: Requested time off must be provided at submission.

Unit Details: Common cases include STEMI, stroke, drain placement, line placement, heart catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, IVC placement, temporary pacemaker insertion, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, and EP studies. The department averages 4-6 cases per day. Uses Philips monitoring equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 x 10s with call. May have to stay late on some shifts depending on cases.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
