Full job description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs, reports, drawings, and specifications
  • Support senior engineers in the development of site layout, grading, drainage, utility systems, and roadway designs
  • Learn design codes and follow established design criteria
  • Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction observations as needed
  • Perform calculations for stormwater management, hydrology, and basic structural elements
  • Assist with permitting processes, zoning research, and regulatory compliance documentation
  • Utilize CAD and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar) to produce plans and technical documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., architecture, structural, and MEP engineers) to ensure project objectives are met
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to project coordination and scheduling

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher Civil Engineering
  • Experience: 0-3 Years of experience working as a civil or structural engineer
  • Attained EIT preferred and on track to obtaining a Professional License (PE) preferred
  • Must be able to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
  • Eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
