Full job description
Mercy seeks a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Recovery unit to provide high-quality post-operative care to patients transitioning from surgery to inpatient recovery. The RN will assess and monitor post-anesthesia patients, manage pain and surgical sites, administer IV medications, and respond to changes in condition using evidence-based protocols. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health staff, documenting care in the EMR, educating patients and families, and supporting safe, compassionate discharges or transfers.
