The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing specialty care team in Tampa, Florida . This is an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our nation's Veterans within one of the largest and most advanced Veterans Affairs medical centers in the country.

Position Highlights

  • Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for Veterans, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive disorders

  • Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other advanced GI procedures

  • Manage conditions including liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, GI bleeding, GERD, and malignancies

  • Collaborate with surgery, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams

  • Participate in quality improvement, education, and clinical initiatives


Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship

  • Eligible for unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory

  • U.S. citizenship required for VA appointment
