About Us
Fieldguide is establishing a new state of trust for global commerce and capital markets through automating and streamlining the work of advisory, audit, and tax practitioners at the world's largest CPA firms. Put simply, we build software for the people who enable trust between businesses.
We’re headquartered in San Francisco, CA and backed by top investors including Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, Floodgate, Y Combinator, DNX Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Justin Kan, Elad Gil, and more.
We value diversity — in backgrounds and in experiences. We need people from all backgrounds and walks of life to help build the future of audit and advisory. Fieldguide’s team is inclusive, driven, humble and supportive. We are deliberate and self-reflective about the kind of team and culture that we are building, seeking teammates that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but care deeply about supporting each other's growth.
As a growth stage startup employee, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the future of business trust. We make audit practitioners’ lives easier by eliminating up to 50% of their work and giving them better work-life balance. If you share our values and enthusiasm for building a great culture and product, you will find a home at Fieldguide.
About the Role
As Lead PM for Tax Agents, you will play a central role in building the industry's leading agentic tax platform. You'll work hand-in-hand with our engineers and our most strategic customers to design, ship, and continuously improve intelligent agents that transform how top CPA firms and corporate tax departments operate — from provision and compliance to research and review.
What You'll Do
Build enterprise-grade AI agents that increase efficiency, quality, and practitioner experience across each stage of the tax lifecycle, from data gathering and workpaper prep to compliance, provision, and review.
Bring a fresh, AI-native mindset to solving long-standing industry challenges, while building interactively with tax practitioners at the world's largest firms and corporate tax departments.
Be extremely customer centric. Understand customer needs, then define and ship zero-to-one features, and enhance and scale one-to-n features.
Shape the product roadmap: work with engineering and product design to quickly define, ship, and deliver impact with new features.
Partner with cross-functional teams including customer success, sales, and marketing to gather feedback, communicate product strategy, and drive adoption of new features.
We are open to either remote or in-person work arrangements.
Who You Are
8+ years of product management experience with deep emphasis on AI / agents.
3+ years of tax experience — as a tax practitioner and/or building tax products for the CPA or corporate tax market.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Comfortable with ambiguity which comes with launching new products.
Degree in a technical, accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
