Full job description

Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Operator Ito join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $17.50

Shift: Monday-Friday; 5:00am - 1:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost standards are met.
  • Take ownership of production assets, ensuring safe operation and adherence to established guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administrative tasks as per procedures and control systems.
  • Report safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to investigations of safety or quality issues, including customer complaints and reject batches.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.
  • Ability to pass forklift certification and operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to measure and weigh accurately, handling containers up to 75 lbs .
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
