American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for an acute care setting, with 1-2 years of experience preferred and current MA licensure required. Details

Acute care inpatient setting Position assigned to a primary team/service area 8-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday Occasional weekend coverage may be required Epic EMR used for charting Requirements

Current, active Massachusetts OT license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted) License required if applicable 1-2 years of experience preferred following completion of internship or apprenticeship program Current BLS certification required (AHA only) Knowledge of medical terminology Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication skills Additional Information

Conduct assessments of patients' physical, mental, and developmental abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting as needed Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercises Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes Participate in staff meetings and continuing education to stay current with best practices Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from Boston, MA to qualify for standard travel rate
