Reports to: Director of Operations 

Position Summary

The Operations Manager, Installation Services leads all branch installation operations for replacement windows, siding, and doors. This position is accountable for profitability, project pipeline management, inventory, expense control, team development, installation quality, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader who can build efficient processes, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams to support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the branch operating plan in alignment with company goals.
  • Manage daily installation operations, project pipelines, scheduling, inventory, and service activities.
  • Monitor schedule adherence, installation capacity, operational efficiency, and project delays.
  • Identify root causes of operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Achieve branch revenue, margin, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Manage branch expenses and labor costs within budget.
  • Analyze branch performance data and implement improvement plans.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, and lead branch employees.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing and contractor capacity based on project demand.
  • Build and manage relationships with independent installation contractors.
  • Maintain customer service and installation quality standards.
  • Partner with regional leadership to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Promote company values and a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Seven or more years of service or installation operations experience.
  • Four or more years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Three or more years of branch financial or profit and loss management experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing window, door, siding, or home improvement installation operations.
  • Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of window and door measurements, installation methods, construction practices, and applicable building codes.
  • Experience recruiting and managing independent contractors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • CRM experience; Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
