Job Type: Full-time | Monday - Friday, daylight. No holidays/no weekends.

Join Our Vascular Surgery Team!
Become part of a thriving, patient-focused vascular surgery practice where you will work alongside two physicians and three advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering exceptional care. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient setting and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a key point of contact for patients through the nurse line and MyChart.
- Manage prescription refill requests and medication-related communications.
- Assist with minor wound care and office-based procedures, including cath pulls.
- Coordinate and place physician orders.
- Review and process patient referrals to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate closely with providers and the care team to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Obtains and records vitals
Evaluations, plans and administers nursing care to patients in office settings as ordered by provider
Demonstrated knowledge of venipuncture, injections and phlebotomy
Provides prescribed medication or treatment and helps physician during exams/treatment including wound care
Reports patient status, refers problems when necessary and anticipates situations that prevent/minimize adverse outcomes or less than optimal outcomes
Monitors and records patient condition and outcomes and notifies physician when appropriate
Maintains advanced clinical vascular skills.
Utilizes expert clinical decision-making.
Identifies educational needs of patients/families and collaborates with nurses and other health care professionals to meet those needs.
Implements physician orders and records physician's verbal orders
Provides patient assessment during patient testing
Assists with facilitation of scheduling of diagnostic studies and works with insurance companies to obtain authorizations.
Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve outcome.
Works with Medical Director and providers of clinic to establish goals to achieve desired outcomes; implements plan of care and evaluates patient response.
Demonstrates flexibility, adaptability and ability to change in a dynamic environment
Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Calls patients with results of vascular testing as needed.
Refills patient medications electronically or via telephone.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and graduate of an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Minimum of three years' experience
Experience in acute cardiac care preferred
BCLS and ACLS (within one year)
