Academic Tutor and Mentor

City Year seeks an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner public schools. In this role, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress in core subjects. You will build positive relationships, serve as a consistent mentor, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Working within a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, receive ongoing training, and develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on students’ success and school communities.
