Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

• 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home or terminated if policy is not followed.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have Total Joint Replacement experience, not just fractures.

Special Requests: Can only apply to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years. Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years. Travel teams must be submitted together. If candidate worked at a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that perm facility. Cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. At least 1 reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.

Unit Details: Ortho patients including joints, replacements, and fractures. Tele unit; RNs do not have to read strips. No titratable or set-rate drips. 3 CNAs per shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Fri-Sun. Travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: May float to 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
