Same Day Surgery Registered Nurse

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Same Day Care unit. In this role, you will provide pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing same-day surgeries and diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, IV therapy, medication administration, monitoring recovery, managing discharge instructions, and educating patients and families. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced, patient-first environment that supports ongoing learning and professional growth.
