QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and automation framework development and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Maintain and optimize existing Selenium-based automation frameworks.
• Support migration from Selenium to Playwright where applicable.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation Engineering, Software Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
• Strong experience with Playwright for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium.
• Experience maintaining, enhancing, or migrating test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating automation frameworks from Selenium to Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing in development pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
