Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2530 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous post-orthopedic surgery nursing experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80%, with only two attempts permitted; updated every 3 years. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only two attempts allowed; updated every 3 years. Ascension Pharmacology Exam (Pharmacology 1 or 2) required during onboarding; minimum 80% score; only two attempts allowed; updated every 3 years. Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score; only two attempts allowed; updated every 3 years.

Unit Details: Patient population consists of postoperative adults recovering from orthopedic, total joint replacement, podiatry, and spine surgeries. Length of stay depends on the surgery performed and discharge needs.
