About the Position

We are hiring CDL B School Bus Drivers in Kansas City, MO, with a pay rate of $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule with no overnight travel, allowing you to be home daily. This is a driving opportunity, providing real support and a focus on safety and professionalism.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
• Guaranteed minimum of 6 paid hours per day
• Monday–Friday
• Split shift:
  • Morning: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
• No weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B school bus while transporting students.
• Maintain safe conduct of all riders in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading of the bus during normal operations and emergencies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete accurate reports, including incident reports and mileage logs.
• Comply with all safety regulations from the company, school district, DOT, and state.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Valid Class B CDL
• Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) Endorsements required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Brand New Graduates accepted
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, parents, and school personnel
