OTR Driver - 2nd Shift

This hourly role follows the Scotts step pay progression scale and typically starts at $26.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

In this role you will:

• Move all drop trailers in and out of dock door locations in conjunction with shipping and receiving instructions. Move product and trailers across the warehouse lot to different destinations.                       
• Secure trailers in place using wheel chocks and locking systems. Conduct safety checks prior to forklift drivers entering a trailer. Open and close trailer doors and assist Forklift Drivers as needed.  
• Maintain and update relevant paperwork and conduct daily safety audits of the yard. Report and hazards and work with facility leadership on continuous improvement projects.                                
• Assist third party Drivers by coordinating the movement of trucks within the yard.      

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Class A CDL – HM not required but suggested
• Must have at least 3 years verifiable driving experience
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 1 DOT recordable accident in the last 3 years
• Medically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more
