Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive trauma and acute care surgery services at

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital

(and the VA for applicable split-role positions)
Participate in trauma call coverage according to the established schedule
Engage in teaching, mentorship, research, and scholarly activities
Maintain compliance with risk management, quality assurance, coding, and documentation standards
Participate in community outreach, education, and program development initiatives
Qualifications:
Education:
MD or DO degree
Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
Completion of a Trauma/Critical Care or Surgical Critical Care fellowship
Licensure & Certification:
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care
Experience:
Academic experience preferred
Demonstrated commitment to teaching, mentorship, and research
