Dental Care of Canby, a growing and energetic practice in the heart of Canby, is looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Preferred Experience

  • New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic dental records is a plus
  • Passion for patient education, preventive care, and improving overall oral health
  • Desire to continue learning, growing clinically, and expanding skills through continuing education
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to adapt to the clinical needs of the practice while delivering exceptional patient care

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual and/or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
  • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
